The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will be holding this ribbon cutting as part of their Hope Starts Here suicide prevention & training event (see the flyer below for registration instructions).

AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide, including those who have experienced a loss. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health by engaging in the following core strategies:

1. Funding scientific research

2. Educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention

3. Advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention

4. Supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide

Ribbon Cuttings, hosted by the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, are joyful celebrations of growth, innovation, and new beginnings in our vibrant business community. These meaningful events honor milestones such as grand openings, expansions, relocations, and anniversaries, each one a symbol of progress, possibility, and the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels Greater Pensacola.
