Innovation & Entrepreneurship Lunch & Learn | January 2027

Description

Understand AI. Give it direction. Put it to work.

Discover a practical way to understand AI—and use that understanding to move forward with your business. This interactive, one-hour workshop for Pensacola Chamber members begins with the functional fundamentals: what AI can help you do, how your goals and context shape its responses, and why your judgment remains essential.

Using a functional analogy to the human brain, we’ll explore how AI can assist with familiar thinking tasks such as connecting information, recognizing patterns, generating ideas, and considering possible ways to accomplish a goal. This comparison will help make AI approachable while clarifying its capabilities, limitations, and the need to check its suggestions.

You’ll then put that understanding into practice with a business goal of your own. The economic conversion and business durability frameworks will guide AI’s assistance, connecting your immediate business challenges to customer demand, sustainable operations, and lasting value.

Through a live demonstration and guided practice, you’ll learn to explain your goal, supply useful context, examine assumptions, and choose a manageable next action. You’ll also see how real-world results can change the next recommendation while keeping your goals and judgment in control.

Leave with a clearer understanding of AI, a practical action to test, and a repeatable approach you can use as your business and AI tools evolve.

No technical background required.
