The Arc Gateway Foundation's 2016 Crab Cake Cook-off

Crab cake aficionados, chefs and lovers now have a chance to prove once and for all who makes the best crab cakes around. The Arc Gateway is excited to hold their annual Crab Cake Cook-off, sponsored by ''The Kid's Dentist'' Dr. Stu Bonnin, DMD, on Wednesday, July 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seville Quarter. Enjoy an evening of all you can eat crab cakes crafted by 18 teams of local chefs, organizations and restaurants, a beer tasting provided by The Lewis Bear Company, wine, a silent auction, live music and ceramics and paintings created by The Arc Gateway artists available for purchase. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded by a panel of blind judges in the Judge's Choice category and by diners in the People's Choice category. Proceeds of the Crab Cake Cook-off will go to The Arc Gateway, a Pensacola non-profit that provides services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serving over 800 children and adults in the Pensacola area.
