National Philanthropy Day
The Association of Fundraising Professionals West Florida Chapter is now accepting reservations for the 2016 National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon and nonprofit professional development sessions, presented by Mark Brewer, President and CEO of Central Florida Foundation and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy. Brewer will focus on relevant topics to nonprofit philanthropy in two sessions: ''Bridging the Generations: The Invisible Ties that Bind and Disrupt Communities and Philanthropy'' and ''Northwest Florida: State of Philanthropy.'' The free sessions will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the annual luncheon and awards recognition at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Pensacola Grand Hotel, 200 E. Gregory St. Tickets for the luncheon are $35 for AFP members and $45 for non-members until Nov. 14. Walk-ins will be available on a first come, first served basis for $50 per person.
