Let’s kickoff an epic Mardi Gras season at the inaugural Krewe du Kidz Parade throughout Downtown OWA! This fantastic celebration is a walking and non-motorized vehicle parade taking place on Saturday, February 19, beginning and ending on the OWA Island.
$10 online pre-registration includes an entry for a random Kidz King & Queen drawing! The Krewe du Kidz King & Queen will be announced via Facebook Live on Wednesday, February 16 at noon.
$15 day-of registration will run from noon to 1:30pm pm on the OWA Island.
Parade participants may line up between 2 and 2:20pm on the OWA Island with a parade start time of 2:30pm. Guests are encouraged to dress festively and decorate their non-motorized wagons and scooters.
Stick around for the afterparty featuring DJ Patrick on the OWA Island from 3 to 5pm. There will be music, hula hoops, bubbles, free kids crafts and a balloon animal artist to add to the fun!
