America at 250: Civic Republicanism, Economic Freedom, and Dynamic Citizenship

On August 21–22, UWF’s Academy of American Civic Republicanism and FIU’s Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom will present America at 250: Civic Republicanism, Economic Freedom, and Dynamic Citizenship. The symposium will bring together scholars, civic leaders, entrepreneurs, and panelists from across Florida and the nation to discuss the ideas and institutions that have contributed to America’s civic and economic dynamism. 

UWF President Manny Diaz will participate in the event, and entrepreneur and education philanthropist Robert Luddy will deliver the keynote address. The symposium is free and open to the public, and we believe it will also be a great networking opportunity for members of Pensacola’s business and professional community to connect with leaders and attendees from across the state and nation.
